Controversy around SLS, SLES, and other petroleum-derived ingredients continues. The level of “dangerousness” continues to be a source of debate, but what IS known:

they are inexpensive and often much more harsh than naturally-based alternatives. Keeping products “up to snuff” with aggressive California, and other state regulations, along with those of Canada and the EU will make them impractical choices for AMBITCHOUS products. IE: we don’t use petrolatum ingredients.
